Cricket Care Sheet
Housing:
Crickets need to be housed in containers Glass aquariums or plastic tubs In order to provide ventilation for a plastic tub, cut a hole in the cover, at least 6”x6” . crickets need places to stand and places to hide. it is hard to collect crickets off of big pieces of egg crate to feed to your animals. Try providing a few used paper towel tubes and/or toilet paper rolls in which the crickets will hide. These are much easier to shake crickets out of and into any container you wish to use.
Heat and Humidity:
crickets can survive at room temperature, they require an ambient temperature of 28 – 32 c to successfully breed, and do best with about 60% humidity.
Food:
crickets can eat a variety of dry fruit, grain or Low moisture vegetable parings such as potato.
